You’ll miss me when I am gone

The morning sunlight kisses your face

A bright new day , new journey to embrace

What if the sun was  one day tired  and  done

Oh my!! we’ll miss him when he is gone

The friendly glow of the moon every summer night

Grandma tales and lullabies to  sleep tight

What if the moon took a break and showed up in the dawn

Her friendly face we will miss her when she is gone

The spring comes with special blooms and colors

Rain showers to paint the earth with a lovely beds of flowers

What if the seasons forget to  change and be withdrawn

We will miss the different shades of seasons when gone

The birds and beasts , play by rules and set limit  

Love thy neighbors and friends,embrace their spirit 

Share and care , have each other and never be alone

No one to share with , we’ll miss caring for none

Love and compassion keeps us tied in this life

Life is too beautiful to be spent in thoughts of strife

One day you are here and one day  you are gone

Memories stay forever so make them pure and fun

Each of us a connected are with a golden thread

Share love , compassion and not hate instead

We are guests on this earth for as long as the game is on

Live with love,so you’ll be missed when you are gone !!

Down the cobblestone road

Down the cobblestone road ,we stroll

Life we call it,bumpy and yet we extol

It will have potholes ,some big some small

But if we don’t get back up,that is when you truly fall

True failures are not when we don’t excel

Not when you get back up, doubts you dispel

Failures are when you don’t want to be back on the ride

You choose to lay down ,and not take it in your stride

As we walk ahead ,with a  thousand dreams

Thoughts and deeds ,flow in a sparkling stream

Don’t give up and don’t forget to gaze at the stars

Looking up puts you and the best in par

Along  the winding road ,beautiful flowers we will see

Weeds are there too, but look  for the best within you and me

Never  fail to understand we are not the best in all we do

A streak of good with bad in everyone makes it worth the woo

Life isn’t a bed of roses as the saying  goes

I think not , dare I say for a rose is a friend and a foe

Sometimes we fail and sometimes others fail you

Failure is the stepping stone, so learn and be on the move

The cobble stone road will lead you to your destiny at last

Stand there and look at the castle ahead,try not to see the past

It isn’t easy for we like to go back to where we were

Glance back ,stare but don’t let castle slip and dreams defer

Let your soul shine day and night,let the darkness out

It is a mighty fight, stay strong have no doubt

Make your life worth the live for you and others around you

Shine your soul , for untarnished is how  we came in too .

There could be noise and wind behind

Or only a gentle breeze if you don’t dwell

Thoughts are what they are called

They can be magical  and will have you enthralled

Keep them good,keep them kind

Bring more joy ,cheerful and refined

Thoughts are there and always there  for you

Don’t let them take you down or make you blue

They are your precious treasure , so be wise

After gloomy days there will always be sunny skies

Don’t waste your thoughts on cries and moan

Because god  is in every good thought you own

See god in everything and everyone around  you

Don’t lose your desire, keep your fire burning

We will cheer you for everything you want to do

For you my dear, we will always come through

We will stand by and watch you take over the world

You do your best always, for a new chapter to unfurl.

Life's little miracles

Wake up in the morning,to the warm sunlight

How did the sun know he had to shine so bright

How does he know he needs to get there everyday

He has no alarm clock,not as far as I can say .

Every night the moon spreads his friendly glow

As we unwind for the day, for the gentle energy to flow

How does he know,he needs to get there in the sky

Sometimes may be forgets ,or may be he is shy

The lovely spring mornings,when the grass is oh so green

The dew drops that sit on the blades,  for a dawn so pristine

How does he know not to slide off until he is shaken

For a blissful morning ,when all living beings begin to awaken

How do the birds know it is winter or summer

They know to fly south to a place that is warmer

How do they know, it is time to come back

But they make it back home safe, all staying on track

How do the butterflies know which flower to choose

May be they  know them so well, they get their own clues

They know to spread the color through the garden as they eat

A  garden filled with colorful blooms ,an endearing visual treat

Life has so many little miracles around us,as we see every moment

Open your eyes and your hearts , love and live life at its very present

For tomorrow we don’t know if  it will come and yesterday is gone

Life has an expiry date, so enjoy life anew every beautiful dawn .

Heat and the summer, beyond what I can express
All the great people around who made everything fun
Never a dull moment as each day begun
Knowing new friends and little more about me
For when you love yourself, a new world you see
Understanding all little moments make life bright and complete
